Bogart has a brother! ROGER - who was rescued from a North Carolina pound.
ADOPTED
After he arrived from Georgia last year,
Bogart slowly overcame his initial shyness. .He had been dumped at
a high kill (gas) animal control facility in Georgia- clickto
see his shelter photo. Extremely shy with people, he most likely
had been kept outdoors like many dogs in that part of the country.
He simply was not used to deal with humans. Now he greets people
with wagging tail and a big smile.
Bogart is a highly intelligent dog, easily bored ,and when he is bored prone to mischief. He is completely non-aggressive, playful, loves to tuck on your sweater and any loose clothes you wear, and when you turn around, he runs off like a mischievous pup. He never bites, but gently opens his lips and smiles while loosely holding what he must think is a part of his "flock". However Bogart would not be suited for serious herding Work - nah - he is much too laid back and non aggressive for a full time herding job He loves other dogs and romps and plays for hours. He also loves his crate, especially when he has "found" a few collector's items such as old bones, raggedy desqueaked fuzzy toys or tennisballs. He is house trained, of course crate trained, up to snuff on everything, heartworm negative. Around 2 years old, 50 lbs. Breed? Beardie/Briard/Border Collie/IWH Mix. Best guess. Email:
