Going Home! And you can call me Shamus now!
Everyone LOVES Rudi And he loves them right back. Still, even after waiting for 3 months to be adopted from an urban shelter, his person did NOT see him there. Now in a fosterhome, he has not given up hope that he will find a permanent home. He knows: There is a person for every dog, and a dog for every person.
Rudi is not small and he is not big, about 40 lbs. Short wiry coat, short beard and crown on top of his head, neat white shirt and socks and and white tip of tail (which has a slight curl). His wiry heritage might be an Airdale or Irish terrier. His skin is loose and has room to grow, or might have been inherited from a Sharpei grand parent. He is one year old -(if not less, his teeth look like baby teeth) - and has all the puppy enthousiasm and playfulness. He is not a wild boy, just enjoys the freedom of the outdoors, but then is quiet , just a soft melodious whine when he needs to get out). He does not mind sleeping in his large crate either. He barks appropriately - when the door bell rings, and his bark is an impressive baritone. He has been neutered and vaccinated.
Rudi is hoping for an active family who will take him for walks and throw him sticks to fetch.
